Extra Point -
This is the fourth all-time meeting between Rockford and Holt.  They met in week 2 of the regular season with Rockford winning 34-10 as well as in the 2007 and '06 playoffs.  Rockford dominated the '06 match-up and then Holt got revenge in the 2007 post-season.  Both teams love to run the football and have the the talent to do so effectively along with mixing it up through the air.  In their meeting this season, Rockford only held a 17-10 advantage before breaking it open late in the third and early into the fourth quarter with 2 big scores to push the lead to 31-10.  The EDGE leans towards Rockford.

Extra Point -
Both teams have met in the post-season 3 times, with Detroit CC winning all three, the last meeting coming in 2003.  Both teams have 2 common opponents, both defeating Franklin but Livonia Stevenson is the difference.  DCC defeated Stevenson last week, 38-0, while Canton's only loss came to Stevenson in Week 8 of the regular season, 36-27.  The EDGE leans towards Detroit CC.

Extra Point -
Both teams have a common opponent in Romeo and both have taken care of business in similar fashion.  Clarkston has had some close calls in their first three weeks but since then, have won every game by double digits.  Dakota's 2 losses have come from Eisenhower, which they avenged last week and from Sterling Heights Stevenson, one of the best overall teams in the state, playing in the Region 4 Semi-Final.  This will be the third meeting between the schools and all have been Region Finals match-ups.  Clarkston had the better season but Dakota has been one of the most successful playoff teams in the entire state over the past 5 seasons.  The EDGE leans towards Clarkston.

Extra Point -
Both teams have a very impressive resume, for all intents and purposes, we have two undefeated teams, sans the forfeited win by Detroit Southeastern.  They both have played quality schedules and have similar stats.  Each team has their own advantages and disadvantages, I just see Stevenson as having a more impressive body of work on paper, mainly the competition they were up against and conquered vs. DSE's opponents.  Regardless, just another great game on tap for this weekend.  The EDGE leans towards Stevenson.
