Extra Point - If I were asked to put in order the games I knew who the winner would be, this game would be dead last! You will not find two teams more evenly matched, not so much on what they do but how they do it. They both are the definition of team, through discipline and good coaching. I get the sense that the guys on either team would at least attempt to run through a brick wall for their team. Millington brings a hard nosed rushing attack that can hit you in many ways, while Clare's offense is a lot more balanced between the run and the pass. It's going to be a battle of substance and style. I think Millington could eventually wear down a great Clare defense but on the flip-side, I can see Clare opening it up with the pass and putting points on the board. Just like any game, this one's going to come down to turnovers and a battle of will. You also have an emotion factor with the retirement of Coach Furno. The High School game is about emotion but it's also about players making plays. The EDGE leans towards Clare.

Extra Point - This weekend of Semi-Final football is set to be one of the most entertaining in recent memory and this game has the potential to be the most exciting along with a few others. Both teams are loaded to the gills with talent. Muskegon Heights has one of the best up and coming coaches in the state, with already a state title on his resume from last year's Holland Christian win. On the other side, you have one of the best coaches in the game and a guy who has been here and the 'big one' a lot over the years. Muskegon Heights is making their first trip to the Semis while this is Lumen Christi's 14th. Willie Snead IV for the Muskegon Heights will need to do what his as done all year as the Signal Caller and maybe even a bit more to get past a LC team with very few chinks in the armor. I would give MH a bit of an edge on the talent aspect but LC gets the nod with experience and 'that been there before' factor. The EDGE leans towards Lumen Christi.
