BK makes USA National Team!

Colorado Springs, CO- I am proud to announce that Detroit Southeastern’s Brandan Kearney has made the 16-under USA National Team!

The USA committee picked Kearney as one of 21 players to try-out for 12 positions over the past four days.  The team was selected late last night and will now travel to Argentina to compete for a spot in the FIBA world games next summer in Germany.

Kearney shot the ball extremely well the first day of try-outs but had just a so-so performance the second day.  The try-outs were extremely intense as no player backed down.  On the third day Kearney knew he had to step his game up to impress the selection committee and the 6-5 combo guard did just that.
