Pitchford makes decision

Grand Rapids native Walter Pitchford has verbally committed to DePaul.  Pitchford is now enrolled at New Creations prep in Richmond, Indiana. 

The 6-9 forward started the summer with the Michigan Mustangs but ended it with Team Detroit.  Pitchford played a key role in helping Team Detroit win the RBK Summer Championship in Las Vegas.  Through out the month of July Pitchford drew national interest from schools such as UCLA, Minnesota, Penn State, Dayton, and Florida International.
